        Jeff had noticed a changed demeanor in Sasha, but only that by which he would attribute to her aging and maturity. He didn’t of course find her to be the same “pup” he once took home over a year ago and as the weeks rolled on, she seemed to be getting worse. As the time passed and Sasha was growing further distant from him, Jeff figured he better make an effort to help her through her crisis whatever it was. He made an effort to cuddle more and show her more attention but Sasha seemed to just resist his efforts and wouldn’t respond.
