| Hey
kids, here's the news. As many of you have seen or heard, I had an
"incident" with one of our planes in which the nose gear would
not extend and I was forced to make a landing without it. All worked
out well in the end and the plane suffered minimal damage. You can

After that little bit of excitement, I was off to New Mexico to do some
contract flying in a Conquest and then off for a little vacation to
Daytona Beach to visit friends and consume mass amounts of
BEvERages.
After getting back to TX in mid November, I was able to get back to work
on my book - The Rule of Thirds. I re-edited the first draft
and "Smoothed" out the read for flow, adding minimal new content
to it. The end result was an additional 20 pages (mostly formatting)
and now a draft of 420 pages.
My colleague
on the project has since visited TX and we discussed the material he will be
adding to the book. So with a little luck, he should get underway
later this month and by early next year, have a draft for me to go over
and final edit. In the interim, I will "quickly" read The Two Towers,
as I only have 2 weeks until the movie, and start the outline for a
screenplay I have been thinking of as well as a that for a children's
book. If all works well, those two projects will be ready to be put
aside to finish the novel next year and try to get it published.

Other news, I have updated many of the pages on my sites to include a
GOOGLE search toolbar. I thought it would be a good addition, allowing you to search
for topics right from that page without having to "leave" my site
to do so. In any case, hope you find it useful.
Dogs,
Fish are all doing well. Our 72 gallon reef tank had some initial problems,
but it is being sorted and we'll add some more fish after the New Year,
the coral side of the house is great. The new inhabitants can still be
seen in the Hobbies/Aquariums page as well as a
inventory of the critters of our new 100 gallon freshwater tank. Dogs
are still featured here - THE KIDS.
