Hey gang.
Well, it’s been a busy end to 2009!!!
Can you believe the first decade of the new millennium is over!?
Holy cow!
Well, I finished out 2009 with some flights to Miami, Hartford, CT and
West Palm Beach, FL. After which I enjoyed a nice two week break
from flying and took the opportunity to head over to the UK with the
family for a 10 day visit! Unfortunately (or fortunately depending
on how you look at it) while we were in England and only had a few
flurries, we missed 3" of snow and the first white Christmas in Texas in
the past 80 years! - Bummer! Apparently the dogs went bonkers for
the snow and had a blast while we were away (well, at least they "said"
they were having fun over the phone!?...)
Other than that, the UK visit pretty much dominated the time from
the last update until now, so enjoy some pics....

In addition to the trek across the pond, the Cyber Kid was able to
meet up with Jeff "I build things" Sturges while he was in Texas for
some (much needed ;o) training. A.J. was also able to venture
out and the trio had a good time at none other than Hooters -

Just FYI -
There are four cups of coffee consumed in
the morning. Each cup is named/labeled by the
emotional state that it facilitates in the drinker.
The four cups are labeled as follows -
1. :oI - The "Up" Cup; to wake
you...
2. :o) - The "Happy" Cup; as the neurons
start to fire and the body kicks to life, shifting into
"high" gear, a sense of well-being overcomes...
3. :o[ - The "Angry" Cup; "well-being" is
cast aside as the desire to choke the living daylights out
of a random stranger for all the problems in the world
ensues...
4. :o\ - The "Motivation" Cup;
after realizing that violence isn't (necessarily) the answer
and the fact that you've been sitting at the coffee shop for
a few hours, this cup "snaps" you back to the reality that
you actually have "stuff" to do and so, with this refill...
you leave...
There you have it... Now go grab a
cup of mud and indulge a bit... |
